Two months ago I purchased a LG 48,000 BTU Ac and heating unit. I installed it myself and just had help to get it started up directions could be more clear but it was fairly easy to do. I was even more impressed when I received my first Electric bill the month prior to installation I paid $251 I just received my bill with the unit installed in the middle of summer and my electric bill was $144 wow .very impressed and satisfied do unit is extremely quiet but powerful.

This was just installed recently in mild temperatures so I can't comment on how well it can heat and cool my small structure but based on the air temp it should work pretty well. I bought this because it is a newer unit with a slightly higher SEER than the KE series. The other nice thing about Daikin is the temp setting on heat can go down to 50, which is good to keep a room that's not being used from freezing (other units only go as low as 65). We purchased 75,000, 120,000, 150,000, and 200,000 BTU units, 28 units in total. The 83% efficient rating helped us offset the cost of the upgrade by being eligible for a rebate from our utility. All heaters were installed and work beautifully. The heaters look great! Our main house is cooled by a 2.5 ton conventional a/c. I replaced that unit in June with a new American Standard (Trane) a/c. On the back of the house is a Florida room 44' x 12' that was not air conditioned. Three sides of the room are sliding glass doors, circa 1989, overlooking a lake and facing east.
