AC unit of 8 years died during heat spell and contractors where quoting very high prices to replace. Having some mechanical ability I decided to purchase and install a new unit myself. eComfort guided me through the whole system and the new unit was shipped to Calif. in just a few days. Used this unit with a 12, 18, 9, 9 set up with a 4-way distribution box, it has worked very well with very little noise. There is a very high pitched sound you can hear if you are near it, but it is not very noticeable.
