I have used these before on a 2nd floor. Really was looking for something to put tile on rather than a mortar base. These are great, east to cut, easy to put down fabric and then tile using unmodified thinset. It's been several years and still looks good, water drains well.

The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. They are super quiet and their inverter technology and continuously variable speeds make them very efficient.
