Installed my unit in April/2015. Live in the pacific northwest. Originally installed it as a make work project as I'm recently retired and didn't expect much. It works so much better than I had ever expected..heating or cooling. So much so, that I'm just in the process of installing another one for the bedrooms area. Installed a few weeks ago...extremely quiet...installation easy....like flexibility of programming.....all working well. Update 1/7/16: Super quiet, easy install, amazingly efficient.....installed in off grid home and working flawlessly for the past few months

Modine Noisy May 10, 2016

After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. Even if the motor was replaced under warranty, it would still be the same noisy motor. If you want to be able to talk in the vicinity... more

Powerful But Rattles Jan 29, 2016

We purchased this to replace our old existing heaters as well as get more powerful heaters to heat up our space. These units are clean looking and powerful heaters, but they rattle and are noisy. You can see the metal bracket inside is loose and it was designed as a separator between the heat exchange, but it is not mounted security, so the air causes it to rattle.
