I replaced a Dunkirk XEB-3 (20 yrs. old) with the Dunkirk boiler above. The new one is all most identical to the old one, that is the pipes were located same as the old, so gas and water lines were easily plumbed. The old electrical wires could be used although lengthened to connect to the digital controls. The circulators location has changed, it's still provided with its wiring provided. Venting is the same as the old one. I was happy to get another Dunkirk that installed easily.

Purchased this HRV to replace our 22-year old Mayaire unit. Didn't realize until the HRV arrived that it must hang for installation. My original unit sat on a table I built for it. So it took quite a while to find the right spot to have good access for straps, and not interfere with existing duct lines for old unit. My neighbor just spent $3500.00 having a new furnace put on, which for me was out of the question...I bought your furnace (same size) for $575.00 delivered to my door. I'm 75 years old and had it installed and running in 6 hours complete. And that's for changing electric, gas lines, upper plenum and lower base. The unit is quiet and efficient, I couldn't be more happy saving about $3,000.00. Only time will tell how long it will last but I found no shortcuts on the quality of construction..would... more

I was hesitant to put in a whole house fan, because the one in my previous house was effective but really loud. Quiet Cool lives up to its name. It is so quiet, I don't have to turn up the volume on the TV. It works great too, pulling in the cool night air. I have a 1400 sq ft ranch house in Colorado and it cools off quickly. I'm so glad I didn't opt for air conditioning, saving a lot of $$.
