I had to buy a boiler to replace one leaking ,putting pilot out..i like the electronic ignition, but seems to be more to go wrong...replace boards $100...standing pilot ,no problems..except leaks in boiler...ill fire warranty claim later...6 year old boiler......i like quality of weil mcclain....we will see about warranty...ps installer now has parkinsons, and will not/can't cooperate......

Great product but found the pressure sensor only works if the world is working perfectly! Meaning the venting must be in excellent shape and does not come apart in the walls or the power is a reliable source. This was installed in one of our customer's homes. Installation straight forward and worked well but then it became a nightmare. Multiple calls back and a real money looser. Installed my unit in April/2015. Live in the pacific northwest. Originally installed it as a make work project as I'm recently retired and didn't expect much. It works so much better than I had ever expected..heating or cooling. So much so, that I'm just in the process of installing another one for the bedrooms area. I had the furnace installer install his programmable thermostat when he installed the new furnace & AC unit. I previously had a thermostat I liked that he threw away. This thermostat cannot be programmed to the same temperature on the heating and cooling cycle. They are always 3 degrees apart. If my wife, on oxygen, is hot, and the thermostat was set to heating, I need to change to cooling, and reprogram it 3 degrees cooler, through the whole cycle, or it will reset later in the day,... more
