Our main house is cooled by a 2.5 ton conventional a/c. I replaced that unit in June with a new American Standard (Trane) a/c. On the back of the house is a Florida room 44' x 12' that was not air conditioned. Three sides of the room are sliding glass doors, circa 1989, overlooking a lake and facing east. Bought my tank less gas water heater as I was just getting and switching to gas and my electric was 23 years old. Gas was not here until a month and a half later. I am up, running and took a very very long hot shower. Nice to never be able to run out. I ran the sink, kitchen sink, shower and it had no problem keeping up. Now comes the $350 dollar rebate from my gas supplier and a $300.00 tax credit from the Feds. That is very nice when Comfort.com sells this at almost half of list. It... more

This condenser is much quieter than the unit that I removed from service. While I have only had it operational for a couple of days, it has performed very well. The installation went very well and the unit appears to be assembled quite well. I am impressed with this unit and I would definitely recommend it for the price and the performance.
