After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. Even if the motor was replaced under warranty, it would still be the same noisy motor. If you want to be able to talk in the vicinity... more

- this one is working great now after I fixed it out of the box. It would have been nice to have had fire up immediate right after install. But no it would not lite. It was not getting gas to the pilot light due to the supply line from the gas cock was to tight from being stretched to far to left of the gas cock thus by moving it over a row in the burner line up the tension of the gas supply to the pilot opened enough to allow the pilot to lite. Where do I start? I'm no HVAC pro. But I have one on speed dial. After much deliberating and my HVAC expert telling me to go with ecomfort I figured "what the heck". the site is great, the filter is okay. I selected my "kit" which touted to be a high end communicating (i.e. comfortnet) setup. GREAT! Only problem... You can't select individual options. We talked about this for years and finally had one installed in our master bedroom. Our bedroom is the farthest room from our main unit. We had to keep the thermostat lower than necessary to make our room tolerable to sleep at night. This unit is quiet and cools wonderfully. Doesn't take long to cool the room when turned on. So many options can be programmed with the remote control. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
