To begin, I regret buying this daily. It replaced a 10+ yr old Fujitsu that outperformed it in every way. First issue I had was the directional blade motor failing. Ecomfort sent a new part, it's now working. Second issue has to do with the appearance, the seams to not align, many of the gaps between plastic parts are uneven. If you have electric baseboard heat and are looking for a premium product this seems to be pretty much the only game in town. It looks about as good as a baseboard heater can do and exudes quality. The thing weighs about ten times a regular heater of similar size so holds heat much better - though ultimately you are buying this for looks not performance. I live in the Colorado mountains and we needed to replace the electric heaters in our bedroom. This heater heats great, but it will not heat to temps below 60 degrees. We like the bedroom air temp cool summer and winter. The controls have 2 timers you can program, but the lowest temp you can program is 60 degrees. That makes no sense. Every thermostat I have seen goes a lot cooler. There is a set back control that goes a lot cooler, but it is totally manual. either on or off.
