A family member installed a 22k BTU Mitsubishi mini split in his 4 car garage (also purchased from ecomfort), i was so impressed with his unit i had to buy one myself. I bought this unit to heat and cool an 500sq ft 2 car, garage with 14' ceiling in NJ. I insulated the garage and self installed. Installed the ecobee 3 a few days ago, no problems at all with self install. The system is up and running and the remote sensor works properly in determining room occupancy and temp. range. Nothing wrong yet, the ecobee 3 does everything for you, just set it up and go. O and the Wi-Fi set-up was flawless too. This was the easiest product to use so far in 2015. Now lets see what it does for my gas bill...........if like everything else it will be great too.

If you have electric baseboard heat and are looking for a premium product this seems to be pretty much the only game in town. It looks about as good as a baseboard heater can do and exudes quality.
