The unit tends to leak through pinholes which are due to impurity of copper tube material from cheap production country. The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. Incredibly quiet and efficient. Disappointed that it doesn't have the temperature read-out or any other display on the head. I think this was a foolish cost-cutting measure. Lose the remote or break it and you are screwed.
