Our main house is cooled by a 2.5 ton conventional a/c. I replaced that unit in June with a new American Standard (Trane) a/c. On the back of the house is a Florida room 44' x 12' that was not air conditioned. Three sides of the room are sliding glass doors, circa 1989, overlooking a lake and facing east. I live in central California with evaporative cooling. I'm using this fan to vent out the hot air. The QuietCool replaced a simple department store unit and the difference is amazing. With much higher air flow, the whole house stays cooler. It's not a quiet fan, but it's 10 times quieter than any other fan with anywhere near the same air flow. I only wish I had found out about this unit years ago!

Great for high humidity pet room ventilation. I bought this unit to improve the air quality in my pet room that contains a 600 gallon aquarium and 200 more gallons in the sump bringing the total volume up to 800 gallons.
