It did arrive with a dent in it but the dent does not affect the performance. I wish it had mounting holes on the bottom so it could be hung upside-down, to allow the supply and return to be on the opposite side, it would have made installation much easier for me.

I bought this unit to improve the air quality in my pet room that contains a 600 gallon aquarium and 200 more gallons in the sump bringing the total volume up to 800 gallons. I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze.
