Use Vibration Dampening Nov 04, 2016

I finally got this installed and working. I like the copper heat exchanger and the compact size. I mounted the first one to concrete walls to avoid vibration above. It took some adjusting to get the louvers to stop vibrating and making noise. It looks like a slick little heater and I expect it will last longer than me. The only down side is the vibration from the fan. I'll have to cut the pipe and put in some vibration dampening. It carries the vibration through the pipes into the hangers... more

just purchased this boiler for my home and it was by far the best choice. If you have any questions you can just call LAARS HQ and talk to a person immediately. VERY GOOD support and knowledge about the product. So quiet I didn't even know it was running. Very efficient, haven't received my first heating bill to know how much its saving me. Installed in a day. LOVE THE HEAT!

Have used Runtal UF series before and the quality is excellent. Now if they could sneak more BTUs per foot.

I received the boiler in a timely fashion. The box was undamaged. I took it inside and removed the cardboard and it all seemed to be there and in good condition. I was surprised to see it had an outdoor reset built into it. It comes with the outdoor sensor. I will not be hooking this up until spring as I do not want to interrupt my heating system during the cold weather. But I do not foresee any issues. The unit is great, but the directions need work. I would recommend the unit without reservations. The contractor is considering getting one too.
