Installed it in the bonus room above our garage. About 300 sq/ft. Insulated with 6" rolled installation, but ceiling being 6" under roof has a very high radiant heat effect in hot times of year. 9000 BTU's does job nicely. Can cool room to 65' to satisfy my most demanding guest from the north. But the most amazing thing is how quiet outside unit is. I actually bought 5 Pensotti Wall Panel Radiators, 3 of the 20" x 24" and two of these 20" X 48" units. They are replacing hot water baseboard heaters in a basement apartment. These heaters are stylish, extremely efficient and are priced very nicely. Installation was a snap using the included hardware, HOWEVER, I highly recommend purchasing an extra set of brackets for the 20" x 48" heater due to its weight. I have 2 of the 30,000 btu units and one 75,000 btu unit. I couldn't be happier with their performance and reliability. I went with these over the competition because of the compact design and the quality that they are built with. The Reznor brand may cost more but I have dealt with other heaters that have failed and caused pipes in the garage to freeze. Now I can leave for days at a time without thinking twice about what's going on back at home in sub zero temps.
