We bought this unit to replace a 30 year old unit. We wanted one very similar so installation would be easy and a do it yourself job. I am always leery about on line shopping, but ecomfort made me comfortable with my experience. The unit was exactly what we wanted and installation was fantastic. We had to modify one piece of duct work--which was really nothing. I would shop at ecomfort in the future.

OK, first thing to do is to consider the space, (including walls and doors) you are trying to condition. Envision the air flow between where the air will eventually come in and where it will be exhausted once you install the ductwork. I've tried several PTAC units. Most are quite good, the LG's however are by far the best and most efficient units that I've ever used. They are slightly more expensive, but extremely reliable, quiet and user friendly..

Very easy to install... working great... no issues... If this works as good as it is now for the next 10 years, as it is warrantied for, I will be getting another just like it... Wonderful furnace!
