Would have rated this system 5 stars across the board, but the equipment manuals were poorly written. Equipment: Impressed with the quality of manufacturing, and the quietness of both outdoor and indoor units. Manuals: 1. Outdoor unit manual was acceptable, but lacked some clarity for installation options. 2. Indoor unit manual was terrible. Instructions to open the unit for installation access were incorrect. Hot showers all around. I wish this thing had a temperature indication (for my own curiosity). The big green digits on the front indicate the set point, not the temp and I can't find a way to change it.

Indoor Unit: Runs great. Easy to install. Almost silent at low speed and no louder than a 16" desk fan at high speed. Instructions are sparse but a DIY guy can figure them out with a little help from YouTube as well. Definitely get the outdoor cover track to make the installation look great. Easily keeps my 14x18x9 living room (east and south exposure) plus 12x12x9 kitchen plus 10x10x9 dining room cool on a 90 degree day with large window exposures on all walls. Outdoor Unit:more

I replaced a Dunkirk XEB-3 (20 yrs. old) with the Dunkirk boiler above. The new one is all most identical to the old one, that is the pipes were located same as the old, so gas and water lines were easily plumbed. The old electrical wires could be used although lengthened to connect to the digital controls. The circulators location has changed, it's still provided with its wiring provided. Venting is the same as the old one. I was happy to get another Dunkirk that installed easily.

Have used Runtal UF series before and the quality is excellent. Now if they could sneak more BTUs per foot.
