I own a 160 unit hotel and I have tried several different PTACs, Carrier, GE, Amana. These LG's have been the best, most reliable, and quietest units. They're slightly more expensive, but well worth it.

I actually bought 5 Pensotti Wall Panel Radiators, 3 of the 20" x 24" and two of these 20" X 48" units. They are replacing hot water baseboard heaters in a basement apartment. These heaters are stylish, extremely efficient and are priced very nicely. Installation was a snap using the included hardware, HOWEVER, I highly recommend purchasing an extra set of brackets for the 20" x 48" heater due to its weight. After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. Even if the motor was replaced under warranty, it would still be the same noisy motor. If you want to be able to talk in the vicinity... more

It is solid, streamlined, very well crafted and very easy to install. I had to buy a boiler to replace one leaking ,putting pilot out..i like the electronic ignition, but seems to be more to go wrong...replace boards $100...standing pilot ,no problems..except leaks in boiler...ill fire warranty claim later...6 year old boiler......i like quality of weil mcclain....we will see about warranty...ps installer now has parkinsons, and will not/can't cooperate......
