The unit tends to leak through pinholes which are due to impurity of copper tube material from cheap production country. The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. I actually bought 5 Pensotti Wall Panel Radiators, 3 of the 20" x 24" and two of these 20" X 48" units. They are replacing hot water baseboard heaters in a basement apartment. These heaters are stylish, extremely efficient and are priced very nicely. Installation was a snap using the included hardware, HOWEVER, I highly recommend purchasing an extra set of brackets for the 20" x 48" heater due to its weight. I deep researched this unit before purchasing, previously had small portable units (worked, but labor intensive)...basement would always be 15 percent higher humidity than upper house (deep summer would yield 70 percent humidity downstairs)...I "rafter" hung unit with run off directly to my furnace's evaporation pump (used clear tubing to see water discharge)...as "summer" just arrived and downstairs was reading 56 percent humidity I set unit to 50 on control and 11 hours... more

I bought two of these electric baseboard heaters. My electrician said the installation instructions were very clear and was impressed with how well-engineered this product is. I find the baseboard units to be very attractive and they are providing very even heat.
