The unit is what I ordered, arrived on time slight shipping damage to the metal grill down low on the condenser unit although it didn't hit the coil I will straiten the metal because were I am installing the unit it will not be noticed. Thanks for the great service. Tom

I used this inline fan to hook up to my vent hood in my kitchen. Even though this product was assembled in America, the motor was made in Germany and you certainly can't go wrong with German technology. I also brought LD10 silencer to attach directly to the fan and placed the silencer between the vent hood and the fan. I also purchased the FC10 clamp to hold the silencer and fan in place. Purchased this HRV to replace our 22-year old Mayaire unit. Didn't realize until the HRV arrived that it must hang for installation. My original unit sat on a table I built for it. So it took quite a while to find the right spot to have good access for straps, and not interfere with existing duct lines for old unit. The unit is much quieter than my original one, which is a plus. The only issue I had with the new unit is that the instructions for adjusting fan speeds are pretty vague. It took... more

I turn it on high in the evening, and it cools down my 834 sq.ft house in about 5 to 10 minutes. Then I turn it to low, leaving a front & back window cracked, it keeps house cool all night....and VERY QUIET!! Totally satisfied.
