They are super quiet and their inverter technology and continuously variable speeds make them very efficient. Envision the air flow between where the air will eventually come in and where it will be exhausted once you install the ductwork. Great for high humidity pet room ventilation. I bought this unit to improve the air quality in my pet room that contains a 600 gallon aquarium and 200 more gallons in the sump bringing the total volume up to 800 gallons. Built by a division of Weil McLain the boiler it is similar to their products. Seems to be build well and I hope to have years of trouble free working status. A little difficult to install given the position of the ports. I will recommend this product to others.
