The product is well designed in both looks and operation. The detailed installation instructions made the job fun. The results - a very happy, cool wife. Two days after installation, the 12k unit quit working with a fan malfunction code. Efforts to contact Gree have been unsuccessful. The 9k unit continues to operate normally. Warranty/repair is a real issue.
