I bought this unit to improve the air quality in my pet room that contains a 600 gallon aquarium and 200 more gallons in the sump bringing the total volume up to 800 gallons. My 13 year old electric water heater was way past its 6 year warranty so I decided to swap it out to this and couldn't be happier.
