I'm 75 years old and had it installed and running in 6 hours complete. And that's for changing electric, gas lines, upper plenum and lower base. My contractor purchased the 151 combi from local warehouse. I just wanted to share experiences for the whole deal of getting this one. I had it installed a few days ago by a local contractor who claimed certified by Bosch. Technicians under supervision by certified plumber were struggling of how they were going to install and had it fired, back and fort with rewiring, and reconnect piping for a few occasions, saying they were difficult to install. We bought this unit to replace a 30 year old unit. We wanted one very similar so installation would be easy and a do it yourself job. I am always leery about on line shopping, but ecomfort made me comfortable with my experience. The unit was exactly what we wanted and installation was fantastic. We had to modify one piece of duct work--which was really nothing. I would shop at ecomfort in the future.

Installed the ecobee 3 a few days ago, no problems at all with self install. The system is up and running and the remote sensor works properly in determining room occupancy and temp. range. Nothing wrong yet, the ecobee 3 does everything for you, just set it up and go. O and the Wi-Fi set-up was flawless too. This was the easiest product to use so far in 2015. Now lets see what it does for my gas bill...........if like everything else it will be great too.
